Building Surveyor

Are you a qualified or experienced Building Surveyor looking for a new role to broaden your skills?
The post will initially be for 9 months and will sit within the Development Team in the Regeneration Directorate. The role will involve hybrid working.
Key features:
* Prepare condition surveyors, including where required priced schedules of works for the Council’s vacant housing stock and any housing accommodation to be acquired by the Council
* Provide building support and advice on the adaptation and conversion of houses, together with any new building supported/specialist housing accommodation
* Support the management of the Council’s vacant housing stock including routine inspections, security arrangements and the repair/upkeep of houses.
Experience & Qualifications:
* RICS qualified (minimum of 5 years).
* 5 -10 years property experience, preferably including working in a local government environment
