The Opportunity


A forward-thinking council is seeking an experienced Leadership and Management Development Consultant to support its goal of becoming a pioneering, learning-focused organisation. This role will enhance leadership and management capabilities to meet current and future needs.


Key Responsibilities
* Design and Implement Programs: Create and execute innovative leadership and management development solutions aligned with business goals.
* Procure and Manage Programs: Oversee external program procurement, ensuring quality and contract management.
* Deliver Development Solutions: Facilitate workshops, provide executive coaching, and offer consultancy to develop tailored solutions.
* Support Talent Strategy: Address talent needs through targeted leadership and management initiatives.
* Measure Impact: Establish robust methods for evaluating program effectiveness, using performance data.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work with People & Transformation and People Business Partnering teams to implement cross-functional programs.
* Develop Partnerships: Enhance leadership capabilities across the county by fostering key partnerships.


Qualifications
* Stakeholder Management: Excellent at managing stakeholders and delivering projects quickly.
* Technical Expertise: Strong background in Leadership and Management Development across all levels.
* Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex issues and innovate.
* Impact Evaluation: Skilled in designing impact evaluations and using evidence-based practices.
* Consulting Experience: Experienced in guiding stakeholders through collaborative decision-making.
* Facilitation Skills: Confident in leading workshops and development interventions.
* Strategic Thinking: Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with a strategic focus.
* Project Management: Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
